With some shows, cancellations or renewals happen quickly (ala. Squid Game, Bridgerton & Irregulars) Other times, it can take months before Netflix make a decision over a show’s future. So far, Tekken: Bloodline has had a pretty good reception with most critics giving this show decent reviews and audiences (at the time of writing) pretty positive about the way Tekken has been adapted into anime format.

Taking everything into consideration, we’re predicting that Tekken: Bloodline will not be renewed for a second season. There’s definitely potential here but the story feels like it reaches a natural conclusion, given the way Tekken 3 ends. We could be wrong of course, and if there’s enough buzz with this one we could see another tournament and Jin return once again.

#Tekken 2 movie series
The animated series takes place between Tekken 2 and Tekken 3 and follows Jin Kazama on a journey of revenge, but we have all seen many revenge stories before so why should we watch this one? Well here are five reasons you might want to watch Tekken: Bloodline on Netflix. If you were around the arcades in the 1990s, you must have been aware of Tekken. The game was incredibly popular and was pretty much a hit when it launched in 1994. Basically a beat ’em up, players would choose a character and be able to control all four limbs in the fight, something that was unique at the time. The game would be ported to the PlayStation console in 1995, opening it up to a whole new audience. A sequel would appear the very next year, a testament to its popularity, and releases continue to appear. Something with this much pop culture influence deserves to be explored, so Bloodline may be a great way to get up to speed with this awesome franchise.
